Oral, head and neck cancer is a term given to a variety of malignant tumors that may occur in the head and neck region, including the oral cavity. Most cancers of the head and neck are squamous cell carcinomas: that is, they begin in the squamous cells that comprise the lining and structures of the head and neck.
At the David C. Pratt Cancer Center, we are proud to have physicians on staff who specialize in the treatment of head and neck cancers.
