American Cancer Society Relay for Life
On June 6 through 7, 2008, The American Cancer Society Relay for Life of West County will host its 11th annual Relay for Life event. This noncompetitive run/walk/roll will be held at Parkway Central High School from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Cancer survivors are invited to walk the first lap around the track followed by a dinner especially for them. Special Survivor registration forms can be picked up at poster sites in the David C. Pratt Cancer Center or by calling Judy Rubach or Katy Fox in Radiation Oncology at 314-251-6844. Come and bring your friends and family and share in this Celebration of Life!

Luminaries can be purchased in honor or memory of a loved one for $5 each. Tribute Torches can be purchased for $50 each. The Luminaries and torches will line the track lighting the path giving us a chance to reflect upon our loved ones. Luminaries purchased prior to May 19th will have their honorees name listed on the jumbo screen during the Luminary ceremony. The deadline for Luminaries purchases is June 2.

Fundraising efforts for Relay for Life are going on in the Cancer Center. Raffle tickets for a bakery basket, a relaxing spa basket, and a Fourth of July/Cardinal themed basket that includes 4 CARDINAL TICKETS FOR THE JULY 3RD GAME are on sale in Radiation Oncology. New raffles and fundraising coming monthly!
